William Ousley

William Ousley, 57, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2022, in Rockford. William was born on March 13, 1965, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Karan Turnmeyer and William Ousley. He attended West High School here in Rockford. He worked at Quality Metals in Byron, Illinois for four years.  Bill “Billy Goat” was an avid Vikings Fan. He loved Elvis Presley, and music in general. He took pride in his cars, making sure they were always clean and the gas tank was full. His contagious laugh would make everyone else laugh. Bill was an all around good guy, who was always up for a good time and would never turn down a “cold one”. Bill is survived by his children, Kenny Volkert and Dakota Ousley; mother, Karan Turnmeyer; brothers, Robert Ousley and Brett (Melissa) Ousley; sisters, Laura Williams, Linda Williams, Kim (John) Kelly, and Karan (Jesse) Miles.
