W.D. Johnson

WD Johnson, 70, of Mt. Morris, passed away February 10 th , 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born August 3rd, 1952, in Sterling, IL to Gerald and Irene (Stahl) Johnson. He married Teresa Boyden on September 26 th , 2003. WD enjoyed his family and friends very much. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and camping with friends and grandchildren. He also enjoyed the game of pool. He worked at Quebcor printing for 20 plus years working as a machine operator retiring in 2009.  He is survived by his wife Teresa Johnson, four sons Joey (Kim)Johnson, Brian (Stacy) Johnson, Nathan (Trista) Johnson, Jacob Johnson and one daughter Amber Clark. Two stepdaughters Corina (Don) Little, Julie (Rick) Seyster. His siblings Mike Johnson, IC (Lori) Johnson, Tom (Reba) Johnson, Bill (Denise) Johnson, Loraine (Don) Johnson, and Marty Johnson, brothers-in-laws Ronald (Nancy) Boyden and Jeff Boyden; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; lifelong friends George and Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Irene Johnson one son Benjamin Johnson one brother Jerry Johnson and one sister Barbara Sue Johnson A celebration of life for WD will be held at Oregon Methodist Church 200 S. 4th St. Oregon IL 61061 on Sunday February 26, 2023, from 2pm-4pm.
