Vivian Porch

Vivian F. Porch, 82, of Rockford, passed away on May 17, 2024, at Rock River Health Care. She was born November 4, 1941, in Rockford; the daughter of Albin and Aldana (Rostenkowski) Kuchins. Most of her life she worked as a cashier in retail, with her last job being at Big Lots. Vivian enjoyed sewing. She mostly made clothes and doll clothes. Once she even made a swimsuit for a body builder for competitions. She also enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. Her favorite

authors were Clive Cussler and Terry Brooks.

Survivors include her children Alan (Sara) Riley, Kevin Riley, Darrin (Catherene) Green, Louesia Green, and Cedric Porch (Raven White); grandchildren Samantha,

Heather, Archer, Travis, Tayzha, Tyler, and Wesley Benjamin; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by herparents; husband Carl Porch; and sister Iris Winter.

A Celebration of Life will be held 4 to 8 pm, Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Resource Bank Community Room, 414 W. Main St., Kirkland, IL 60145. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111.
