Virginia “Jenny” Huff, 74, of Rockford, passed away on April 3rd, 2024. She was the youngest of her siblings, born March 26, 1950. Virginia had a career as a nurse for 33 years and found her purpose in caring for others. She was a devoted Christian and spent her spare time helping people find Jesus. She adored her family and was known as “Mom,” “Aunty Chick,” and “Grandma Jenny” by those who loved her. Jenny’s hobbies included dancing, learning Spanish and spending time with her family. Jenny was a social butterfly who loved to learn about others; she was never afraid to introduce herself.

Survivors include her son Joe (Melissa) Huff; grandchildren Lauren, Sophia, and Ryan; sister MaryJane Alongi; nieces ToniAnn (Justin) Williams and Theresa Stockero; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Jenny was predeceased by her parents Carmello and Mamie Alongi; and her brother John Alongi.

In her passing, Jenny leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joy. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. Virginia's family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, dancing in the light of God's love for eternity.
