Vicki Nyman

June 24, 1951 — July 11, 2024

Vicki Louise Nyman, 73, of Rockford, passed away in her home, surrounded by her family, on July 11, 2024. She was born in Stillman Valley; the daughter of Leon and Mary (Church) Livingston, Sr. She married Dennis A. Nyman on July 9, 1976 in Rockford, he passed away this past November 21, 2023. Vicki was very proud to say she was of the Lutheran faith. She loved all sorts of crafting and flower gardening. Vicki enjoyed birdwatching at her home, especially the hummingbirds and cardinals. She also liked to go to garage sales and thrift stores carrying her iced coffee. Her family remembers her fondly liking anything with sparkle and bling.

Survivors include her children Janie (Ray) Webb, Lorraine (Joe) McCormick, DuWayne (Tonya) Nyman, Phillip (Joann) Nyman, and Mike (Graciela) Elson; grandchildren Michael McCall, Brandon Webb, Chelsea McCormick, Joseph McCormick, Jr., Jassamyn, Nicholas, Trista, and Payton Nyman, Michelle, Robert, and Ashley Elson; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings Leon Livingston, Alan (Sue) Livingston, Gary (Bonnie) Livingston, and Mariann Livingston; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and husband Dennis Nyman.
