Veronica Pauline Mcalister, 53, of Rockford, passed away on May 19, 2024, in her home. She was born May 10, 1971, in Rockford, the daughter of William and Mary Diane (Schneider) Mcalister. She graduated from Harlem High School in 1989. Veronica attended St. Bridgit Catholic Church in Loves Park. She worked as a CAN for many years. She was a very crafty person and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed playing games on her phone.
Survivors include her mother Mary Diane (Burton) Roush; nephews Casey (Brittany) and Kane Mcalister; niece Katlyn Mcalister; great-nephew Phillip Mcalister; stepsister Tina Randolph; step nephew Zack Randolph; numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her father William Mcalister; sister Shelley Proper; and maternal grandparents Harry and Mary Schneider.
