Tyrone King

October 11, 1943 — October 25, 2024

Tyrone Dale King, 82, of Belvidere, passed away in his home on October 25, 2024. He was born October 11, 1942, in La Crosse, Wisconsin; the son of Calvin and Thelma (Brenegan) King. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. Tyrone worked for Chrysler as a foreman for 32 years before retiring in the mid 1990’s. He loved to fish and hunt. He believed in God. He learned how to be a mechanic in the Marines and was very passionate about fixing cars.

Survivors include his children Tyrone “Ty” (Natalie) King, Jr., Christina (Ryan) Keifer, and Calvin King; grandchildren Eric, Nikki, Keenan, Noah, Abigail, Brooke, and Alexis; sisters Nancy and Darlene; and several nieces and nephews; and Harold and Barb Lloyd and the entire Lloyd family. He is predeceased by his parents; girlfriend Sheila Vayenas, grandsons Jacob and Aiden; and numerous brothers and sisters.
