Tony Ray Hollin, 61, of Poplar Grove, Illinois, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Tony was born on October 6, 1961, in Melrose Park to Sarah F. Johnson and Samuel D. Hollin. Tony was a bricklayer in the area for many years. He was the life of each and every party. He was a loyal Chicago Bears fan, and had just about every Bear’s hat ever made. He liked to fish at local ponds, rivers, and lakes. Most importantly, he was a wonderful grandfather. He loved watching Dragon Ball Z and Supernatural with his grandsons, who also recently introduced him to anime. He is survived by his children, Hanna Hollin, Eric Hollin, Samuel Hollin, and Lucas Hollin; grandsons, Jonathan Bowers and Brennan Hollin; mother, Sarah F. Bailey; sisters, Cheryl Parziale, Angie Spears, and Penny Hollin; many nieces and nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his father, Samuel; brother, Timothy Hollin.
