Timothy Streich

Timothy Edward Streich, 45, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Timothy was born on August 7, 1975 to Edward and Susan (Meiborg) Streich in Rockford. Tim attended Hononegah High School, graduating in 1993. On March 14, 2001, Timothy married Kimberly Eckhoff in Las Vegas, Nevada. Timothy was an experienced expedited freight driver, as well as a machinist. In his earlier adult years, Timothy played in 2 bowling leagues a week. He found his joy for bowling as a child, participating in tournaments. Tim also enjoyed an array of other sports. Anywhere from going to an XFL game during his honeymoon, to several baseball and hockey games a year. He was a proud season ticket holder for the Rockford Icehogs. Tim also enjoyed collecting autographs from his favorite players, and helping others add to their own personal collections. Tim always looked forward to traveling; whether it was for work, sports or personal time. Tim will be missed in all of the communities he was apart of. Tim is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kimberly Streich; son, Kasper Streich; mother, Susan Bokker; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Edward; grandparents; Uncle, Carl Meiborg; dear friend, Benji Vallance. A memorial visitation for Tim will take place Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, Illinois, 61111.
