Thomas H Wupper

Thomas Wupper was born on July 17, 1953, and passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on May 25, 2026. Tom graduated from Guilford High School in 1971. He went on to graduate from Eastern New Mexico University with a BA in 1975 and received his MBA in 1976. He was a life loyal Sigma Chi.

He married Laura Lighthart on October 3, 1990. Tom spent his entire career working in the petroleum industry culminating in the ownership of WUPCO Shell. He was also an accomplished golfer, having won three club championships at Forest Hills Country Club and achieved two holes in one. He lived the once in a lifetime dream of playing Pebble Beach.

Tom is survived by his wife Laura; brother Robert “Pete” and sister Wendy (Todd) and by several nieces and nephews that greatly adored him. Tom was predeceased by sister-in-law Sandra Wupper.
