Thomas Bauer

Thomas H. Bauer, 64, of Carpenterville, died October 14, 2020 in Belvidere, IL. Born January 23, 1956 in Melrose Park, IL; son of George and Patricia (Wynne) Bauer. Photography and art were his life. He never went anywhere without a camera. He concentrated on making memories with his family and his children will carry those memories with them. He was taken too soon but he can now rest in peace. He was always joking and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved unconditionally and would give you the shirt off his back. He wanted to make sure no one went without, and there’s no one that will ever compare in the eyes of his loved ones. He is survived by his children Clinton and Candice Bauer; mother Patricia Bauer; siblings Mary Bauer, Linda Berry, Bette (Alan) Stevenson, and Jimmy (Andrea) Bauer; 7 nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children Debra. He is predeceased by his father George and brother-in-law Steve Berry. There will be a private family get-together for Thomas and in the spring, they will have a memorial with a planting of a tree in Elgin. The date will be announced.
