Terry Frer

Terry Lee Frer, 67, of Rockford, passed away in his home on May 10, 2022. He was born on September 5, 1954, in Chicago; the son of Joseph Bing and Patricia (Mertes) Frer. He proudly served his country as a medic in the US Air Force. He married Linda Johnson on January 14, 1977. She passed way on May 5, 2016. Terry was a Teamster as a truck driver for Air Express International. He enjoyed camping and fishing and quality time spent with his grandchildren. Terry is survived by his children Christopher (Karla) Frer and Terri Frer; grandchildren Nikolas, Alexis, Alesha, Brianna, Alana, Austin, Emily, Paris, and Jasmia; great-grandson Izaiah; siblings Michael (Theresa) Frer, Anthony (Judy) Frer, and Tina Frer; sister-in-law Susan Burdick; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Bing; his parents Martin and Patricia Frer; wife Linda; and brother David Frer.
