It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of our beloved Terri Rae Griffin (Stone), January 1, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on October 24, 1966, in Rockford, IL. She married the love of her life, Brian Griffin, on September 14, 2012, in Las Vegas and was very happily married for 12 years.
She was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend, and her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She had a warm smile and a spunky spirit that radiated love and compassion.
Terri loved riding her motorcycle, traveling, dancing with her husband Brian, and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was the best Nana any child could ask for. Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Terri is survived by her loving husband Brian, her children Justin Gifford (Amanda), Chuck Schutz (Julie), Mindy Schutz, Shantelle McNeely (Terry), Sean Griffin (Alex), and her awesome grandchildren Lamar, Mackenzie, Lennox, Josie, Walker, Conor, and Whelan. Terri is also survived by her chosen family Jay and Leslie Triplett, Renee and Paul Vick, Darin and Cindy Hilliard, Mike and Tina Vrazsity, and Rodney and Tracey Schmitz, along with numerous other friends.
There will be no funeral service at this time. However, a celebration of life will be held on June 28, 2025. We will update with the location closer to this date.
Terri will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, our dear wife, mother, Nana, and friend.
