Tanya Alexander

Tanya Marie Alexander, 40, of Rockford, died March 18, 2019, in her home. Born December 18, 1978, in Rockford; daughter of Glen Hall and Julie (Gould) Cannegeiter. Married D’Andre’ C. Alexander, Sr. on June 5, 2009. Tanya was an avid photographer and loved all types of music. She loved being a wife and mother. D’Andre’s message to Tanya “Superman will forever miss his Wonder Woman.”  Survivors include her husband D’Andre’; children Raven, Chase, Shawn, Ethan, Serenity, and D’Andre’ Jr.; mother Julie (Jim) Cannegieter; brother David Hall; aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Predeceased by her father Glen Hall; maternal and paternal grandparents. A Celebration of Life will be 6 pm, Saturday, March 30, 2019, in the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Rockford, 3015 South 4th Street Rockford, IL 61104 with Rev. Dave Frederick officiating. There will be no visitation before the service. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family.
