Susan Stralow

March 21, 1949 — April 4, 2024

Susan Beth (Gridley) Stralow, 75, of Rockford, passed away in her home on April 4, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1949, in Rockford; the daughter of William and Leona (Johnson) Gridley. Susan graduated from West High School in 1967. She retired as an Aftermarket Coordinator for Aqua-Aerobic Systems after 32 years. She enjoyed bingo, puzzles, crafts, weekly card games, monthly Aqua retirement lunches, girls-night-out dinners and traveling, and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Susan was the epitome of kindness and grace.

Susan is survived by her children Stephanie Garwick and Matthew (Diana) Stralow; granddaughter Ashley (Vance) Sudbury; siblings Randee Dalzell, Pauley (Dan) McKirgan, and Lisa (Tim) Farrell; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friend Laurie Breit. She is predeceased by her parents, infant brother; son-in-law Craig Garwick; and brother-in-law Stan Dalzell.
