Pfeifer, 69, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 16
th
, 2025, at Swedish American Hospital. The family is grateful to the CCU staff for the care of Suanne and the support of her family.

) Pfeifer
.
Suanne graduated from Belvidere High School in 1974 and was a survivor of the
tornado of 1967
in Belvidere, Il
.
She attended Rockford Business College
.
She was employed with
Danaher
Corporation as a purchasing and administrative assistant
.
Suanne enjoyed her retirement and gardening.

was
always fun to be around as she was
a very vivacious, magnetic person who enjoyed life
.
She was kind to everyone she met
.
Suanne fought and won her battle
against cancer in 1996
.
When her health was in decline, she stayed positive,
determined and
always moving forward with rarely a complaint.

was an ardent Minnesota Viking fan
!
She loved being a Minnesota Twin
.
She
e
njoyed
watching the
Kentucky Derby
.
Susie was a
genuine sports enthusiast
.
She was a figure skater, also competed as crew
on catamarans in regatta/races
.
She was theatrical, enjoyed singing and
very
artistic.
Most importantly,
Suanne loved her family unconditionally
.
She was a
devoted Aunt to all her nieces and nephews
.
Suanne was the ultimate cheerleader and champion for her family
.
Suanne touched our lives and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her siblings, twin sister Luanne Pfeifer, John Pfeifer, Gary Pfeifer, Linda Franke, and Steve

Marj) Ostgaard;
numerous
nieces and nephews; several cousins; Aunt Sharon (A
llen
) McVey
, Aunt Carol
Fagerness
and her
dear friends Barb Reams, & Barb Kinney
.
She
is
predeceased by her parents Jerome and
Orva
Pfeifer;
stepmother Lois (Harmon) Pfeifer
; aunts and uncles,
Ardeth
(Glen) Gilbertson; Merton (Beverly) and Stan
Fagerness
; her
sister Cheryl Taylor and sister Joyce (Michael)
Maske
;
and her beloved dog Norske and Jack the cat.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date and will be announced.
