Steven Zweifel

Steven A. Zweifel, 66, of Rockford, died January 2, 2020 in Generations at Neighbors in Byron, IL. He was born August 25, 1953 in Evergreen Park, IL; son of Emil and Betty (Allen) Zweifel. Steve married Harriet A. Smith on September 11, 1976. He worked as a machinist for Borg-Warner, and then later was a custodian at East High School. He attended Maywood Evangelical Free Church. Steve had been a professional drummer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and Sci Fi. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Harriet; children Heather (Scott) Takamoto, Aaron (Meno) Zweifel, and Emily Zweifel; grandchildren AnneMarie, Andrew, Michael, Gwen, Holden, and Betty; and sister Diane (Randy) Parrish. He was predeceased by his parents.
A Celebration of Life has already taken place. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Rd., Loves Park.
