Steven Scott Wagner

Steven Scott Wagner, 55, of Belvidere, passed away February 6, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born June 26, 1970, the son of Margaret Wagner. Steve proudly served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd Class, working as an air framer. He married Lynne V. Eder on August 4, 2000. He worked as a supervisor in maintenance at Richelieu Foods in Wheeling, IL.

Steve worked a lot, but when he was home, he liked floating in his pool and playing with his dogs. He was also a movie buff, especially watching Dr. Who.

Survivors include his wife Lynne; children Robert (Jessica) Wagner, Stephanie L. (Janie) Kiestler, Stephanie M. (Matt) Wagner, Kaitlyn (Jeremy) Kuykendell, William (Melisa) Wagner, and Calee Johnson; grandchildren Isabelle, Emersyn, Bryson, and Ruby; siblings Susan (David) Kinney, Robert Wagner, Edward (Jackie) Wagner, and Richard (Andrea) Wagner; mother-in-law Linda (Mike) Iacullo; sister-in-law Andrea (Tommy) Dahl; brother-in-law Damien (Maria) McEvoy; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandson Nolan Mitchell; mother Margaret “Peggy” Wagner; grandparents Florence and John O’Connor, and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Pyramid Sports Bar and Pizzeria, 236 W. Lake St., Addison, IL 60101.
