Steven Marley

Steven Keith Marley, 51, of Rockford, passed away in his home on September 7, 2022. Born November 24, 1970, in Rockford; the son of Steven B. and Sherry (Bland) Marley. He graduated from Byron High School in 1988. He worked as a forklift driver and a CNC machinist. He loved sports, especially football and baseball. He followed the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame. He was a very honest person, and you always knew where you stood with him. His favorite thing to do was to spend his free time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his sons Austin and Nicholas Marley; his grandchildren Braelynn and Sophia Marley; parents Steve and Sherry Marley; brother Michael (Katrina) Marley; and nieces and nephews Kennedy “Lulu” Marley, Tony and Brooklynn Coryelle, Jordan Garcia, and Matt and David Ward. He is predeceased by his daughter Brittney Marley. There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 pm. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 650 Coolidge Place, Rockford, IL 61107.
