Steven Johnson

Steven "Steve" P. Johnson, 77, of Belvidere, IL passed away on February 20, 2025. Son of Paul Johnson and Lois (Mapes) Johnson. Steve graduated from Stockton High School in Stockton, Illinois in 1965; that same year he met his wife Sandy, they were married just 2 years later in May of 1967, celebrating 57 years together. He was a part of the National Guard, serving his county and state. Steve loved his tractors, trucks, toys and going antiquing, he was a past member of the masons. He enjoyed woodworking, making farm toys, he also was an official and coach for soccer from youth to college soccer. Steve will be dearly missed by his family.

Steve is survived by his wife of 57 years Sandra "Sandy" Johnson; son Ryan (Leasha) Johnson; and sisters Kay Larsen and Cynthia Petty. He is preceded by his parents Paul Johnson and Lois (Mapes) Johnson. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
