Stacey Goble

Stacey “Sprite” Alan Goble, 57, of Rockford, died August 31, 2019 in PA Peterson at the Citadel after a long illness. Born August 29, 1962 in Rockford; son of Donald Sr. and Diana (Sublett) Goble. He graduated from Harlem High School and worked as a police officer for Loves Park, Cherry Valley, and Winnebago County Sheriff’s auxiliary. He also worked for Parson’s Collision Center as an adjuster and worked security for the Rockford Speedway. He enjoyed fishing and going to automobile races with his daughter Hailey. He also enjoyed road trips, working on cars, and participating annually in the Polar Plunge. Survivors include his daughter Hailey, sons Nathaniel and Nicholas; brother Donald (Michelle) Goble; sister Melissa (John) Miles, several cousins, nieces, nephews, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Bill Meyers, and stepmother Ruth Goble. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be 4-8 pm, Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the Forest Hills Lodge, 1601 W. Lane Road (Rt 173), Loves Park, IL. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 7307 N. Alpine Road, Loves Park.
