Sibyl was a vibrant, people-loving soul who made it her mission to know everyone and care for them in her own special way. An adventurous spirit, Sibyl enjoyed life's journeys both big and small. Her life's path took her and her family through Kansas, New Mexico, California, Canada, Maryland, Ohio, and Illinois. She accomplished many Jeep desert drives while living in New Mexico and rode many times in a British Daimler Dart convertible along California's Pacific Coast Highway with her family. Sibyl was also present during some of the early Apollo launches in Florida.
A social butterfly, Sibyl loved bowling, attending parties and drive-in movies, especially Elvis Presley films, even the not-so-great ones. Sibyl attended many outdoor music events and later enjoyed the early IMAX theaters. She was an avid collector of many treasures and found joy in reading books and magazines, especially in her later years. She delighted in playing cards, board games, doing word searches and puzzles and often sent gift magazine subscriptions to friends and family. Music always filled her life, and she lived authentically - a remarkable presence whose kindness and energy will be remembered.
