Sherry Campbell

Sherry Diane Campbell, 68, of Rockford, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on April 30, 2022. She was born on November 15, 1953, in Rockford; the daughter of Doyle and Bonnie (Stark) Sumpter. Sherry worked as a care giver/personal assistant for many years. She loved to cook and enjoyed going out to dance. She really liked going to Chili’s for their margaritas and avocado ranch dip. She loved spending time with her dogs, Chloe, Grand dog Luna and Great Grand dog Nando. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her niece Julie Kind, who would drop anything to come help her aunt. Survivors include her daughter Kerri (Donald) Lightfoot; son Damon (Cindy) White; grandchildren Angel (Andrew Holst) Shockey, Brandon Shockey, Dylan (Jaretzy) White, Ivy (Jenna) Woody, Alliyah Hamm, and DJ Lightfoot; 5 great grandchildren; and her beloved sister Sheila Manns. She is predeceased by her parents Doyle and Bonnie Sumpter. A private Celebration of Life will be held May 7th. A graveside service will be held on May 21, 2022, at 12:00 pm in Cincinnati, Iowa.
