Shelley Rae Cox-Beyer, 59, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was born March 12, 1965, in Michigan to Shirley “Jack” and Vera Pratt. She was a graduate of Auburn High School. She married Deryl “Bradley” Beyer on November 13, 2020. Shelley loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed sharing music with her husband and having him sing to her. She was such a giving person, if she had it to give, she did.
Shelley is survived by her husband Deryl “Bradley” Beyer; her children Sarah (Quinn) Wolter and Jospeh Powell; mother Vera Pratt; siblings Wanda Johnson, Vickie Ashley, Caren Kuntz, Kathleen Kreft, Rick Pratt, and Sharon Jones; grandchildren Haedyn and Zain Wolter; nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is predeceased by her father Shirley “Jack” Pratt.
Celebration of Life will be Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 1 pm to 3 pm at the River Front Park in the Museum, 711 N. Main St., Rockford, IL 61103. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111. www.statelinecremations.com
