Sharon L Ballentine

Sharon LuAnne Ballentine, 60, of Janesville, WI, passed away in her home, with family by her side, on June 29, 2026. She was born on November 8, 1965, in Wurzburg, West Germany; the daughter of Ray and Martha (Willis) Duffield.

Sharon married Mark Ballentine on October 19, 2013, and they attended Messiah Lutheran Church in Madison, WI, together. She enjoyed bowling and playing games on her phone. She loved listening to music and going to the Country Thunder music concert. Her family was very important to her, and she always looked forward to their picnics.

Survivors include her loving husband Mark; mother Martha; son Chris Ballentine; stepfather Stanley (Deb) Geister; brothers Sonny Duffield, Norman (Laura) Geister; nieces Emily Geister, Kayla (Steve) Eberhardt, Chelsea, and Jordan Duffield; grandsons Mason and Skylar Ballentine; best friend Lori (Craig) Baker; stepsiblings Christine (Kelly) Hinton-Geister and Aaron (Cha) Geister; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Ray Duffield; grandparents James and Twyla Willis, Ardis Tucker, and Otto Ray Duffield.
