Sandra Wilson

Sandra L. (Pape) Wilson, 77, of Rockford passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, following a short illness. Born on July 5, 1944, in Guttenberg Iowa, the daughter of William Pape and Bernice (Fabert) Schwartz.  Sandra would eventually move to Rockford, IL and in 1967 she married George F. Wilson. (Preceded in death). Soon after they were married, she agreed to stop working fulltime to focus on their children and their home. She was adamant about having a clean and organized home. She enjoyed watching soap operas for many years. She maintained decades long friendships with ladies who were still at her side when she passed. Survivors include her children Rick (Stacy) White, Lori White, Shawn (Marcy) Wilson; her Brothers William Pape, Jerry (Jennifer) Schwartz, Preston Schwartz and sisters Vivian Garman, Maureen (Jerry) Nokes; grandchildren Ricky (Melody) White, Amber Homewood, Todd Newsome, Theo Newsome, Shy Newsome, Alex Wilson, Alyssa Wilson; great grandchildren, Izabella, Sophiya, Trey, Titan, Taylor, Tahliya, Lily, Everly Talana, Trew, TaKoda, Taelynn, Tiara, Gage and Major. Preceded in death by brother Roger Schwartz. Celebration of life for George and Sandra to be held at later date for family and friends.
