Sandra Vail

Sandy M (Kiely) Vail 65 of Belvidere, IL went to her heavenly home on March 12, 2023 with her family by her side.  Born July 6, 1957 in Belvidere to William “Joe” Kiely and Dorothy (Turnipseed) Kiely.  She graduated from Belvidere High School and married Michael L. Vail on February 4, 1978 where they had two children Lisa and Joe. She was a lifelong homemaker and a loving, kind, compassionate wife, mother, grandma, aunt, and friend to many.  She also loved her animals and enjoyed their walks at the park. She was a caring person and was always helping people however she could.  She was an extremely special person and will be deeply missed by her husband Mike, children Lisa & Joe, grandchildren Allyson, Mason, Jaxson, and Avason, and special fur grand-babies, Louie and Athena. As well as niece Amy, great-nephew Shaun, her cousin Jolene, fur friend Duke and many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Dorothy Kiely and her brother Steve Kiely.  There will be a celebration of life at a later date.  In remembrance donations can be made to Noah’s Ark 111 N.1st Rockford, IL 61107.
