Roy A. Gordon, 85, of Loves Park, died November 22, 2019 in his home. Born June 19, 1934 in Evanston; son of Clifford and Ruth (Butow) Gordon. Attended Paletine High School. Married Geraldine E. Tranker on March 15, 1958. Roy worked as a brick layer and mason. He spent many hours volunteering his time building Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls. He took his faith seriously and went door to door witnessing and sharing his faith. He enjoyed fly fishing up in Chippewa Falls, camping, and going on cruises with Geri. He also enjoyed driving around Rock Cut State Park with Geri and their grandson Jordan; whom he gave driving lessons to while traveling through Rock Cut. Roy is survived by his wife of over 61 ½ years Geri; children Andrew (Kim) and Nichola (Alex) Sauceda; grandson Jordan Sauceda; brothers Duane (Janet), Kenneth (Patricia), Phillip, and William (Anita) Gordon. He predeceased by his parents, sister Marie Gordon, and brothers Richard and Clifford Gordon. ? A Celebration of Life will be determined. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 7307 N.
