Rosie A Wampfler

Rosie “Rose” A. Wampfler, 91, of Rockford, passed away in her home on May 5, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1934, in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Rose worked for many years at National Lock and was also a beautician that had her salon in her home. She enjoyed playing on her tablet and working on puzzle books. When she was younger, she would travel and especially loved visiting Hawaii.

Survivors include her daughters Della Davis and Carolyn Merenda; great-grandson Shane Weaver; and granddaughters Deanna Carter, Delana Hanacek, Dana Kline; and great granddaughter Ashley Rainwater; and many more.
