Rosemarie Zilz

June 18, 1937 — January 27, 2025

Rosemarie "Butchie" Zilz (née Kotwica) , 87, formerly of South Chicago, passed away January 27, 2025. She was a b eloved mother to Jeannie (Matt) Wilson, Jack (Diana) Zilz, the late Tracy Zilz and the late Bob Zilz. She was a c herished grandmother to P.J. Villar r eal, Jackson Zilz and Jonah Zilz. A l oving g reat-grandmother to Jocelyn Villa r real and Diego Villa r real , a nd a d ear sister to the late Joseph Kotwica . She most enjoyed time with her beloved dogs and visits from her grandchildren. She loved a warm, fuzzy blanket and watching animal shows on TV . She enjoyed playing the slots and took her first plan e ride to Las Vegas when she was 66 . Her home was always o pen to family and friends, and she was always up for a chat over a strong cup of coffee or a game of cards or Bunco .
