Rose Marie Parrott, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Rockford, Illinois. Rose was born to Pauline and Joe Parrott on January 24, 1950 in Princeton, Illinois. Rose took great pride in caring for her two wonderful children, and in her later years, her 9 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Rose was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Outside of spending time with her family, she enjoyed participating in Bingo, gardening, and watching the Chicago Bears on Sundays. The family would like to extend their gratitude towards every nurse through Swedish American Hospital and Northern Illinois Hospice for their love and support for Rose in her time of need. Rose is survived by her daughter, Rebekah Hendrickson; son, Bill (Dawn) Parrott; sisters, Patricia Veith, Betty Parrott, Carol Fox; brother, Jim (Brenda) Parrott; grandchildren, Harry (Missy) Hendrickson, Mike (Tasha) Hendrickson, Karianne (Tim) Lovell, William Parrott, Christian Schnell, Cory (Bry) Hendrickson, Jamie (Tore) Blake Turner, Tyler Parrott; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Owen, Autumn, Jackson, Elissa, Chase, Todd, Mike Jr., Raven, Tanner, Lauren, Troy Jr., Olivia, Cesar, Lyla Rose, Alexis, Courten (CJ)., Delilah, Toreaun (Boobah), Jamarion, Trey’Vion, Jay’Vion; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Pauline (Carl) Griffis and Joe (Ruth) Parrott; siblings, Beverly, Ruby, Melvin, and David Parrott; Son-in-law, Harry G. Hendrickson; brother-in-law, Vern Veith; Grandchildren, Toni Marie, Anthony Schnell; niece, Kim Barone. A Celebration of Life for Rose will take place Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Sinnissippi Park Twin Shelter #1 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
