Ronald Youman

Ron Youman, 78, of Rockford, passed peacefully from a long illness on Tuesday, April 7, 2021 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, Illinois. Ron was born on November 20, 1942 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Irene and Jack Youman. Ron attended Rockford East High School graduating in the class of 1960 and finished undergraduate studies in marketing and business at Southern Illinois University in 1965. Ron is survived by his wife Janice Youman; children, Breisa (Donald) Grandolfo and Benjamin (Kristine) Youman; grandchildren Nathanial Youman, Nicholas Youman, and Katherine Youman; brother Rick Youman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. Ron will be remembered for his love of his family and his great joy of cars that he shared with his brother. Ron’s family would like to extend their gratitude for the loving staff at Serenity Hospice for all their support and care.  A private graveside service will be conducted at Big Mound Cemetery on Big Mound Road in Davis Junction, IL on Sunday April 18th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ron’s name can be made to a charity of your choosing. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Rd, Loves Park, IL.
