Ronald Seiring

October 4, 1952 — January 30, 2026

Ronald M. Seiring of Loves Park, age 73, entered into his eternal home on January 30, 2026, after a long illness and surrounded by love that he built over a lifetime. He faced his challenges with quiet strength and humor. Through it all, his love for his family and friends never wavered. They were his heart and greatest joy. Though his absence is felt profoundly, his presence will remain in shared jokes, stories retold, and moments of unexpected laughter when we least expected it. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, generosity, and loyalty. Ron was deeply loved by many people and had a heart of gold. He was a devoted son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Ron helped family and friends often. Ron was also a man of faith. He is now with his heavenly father and family and friends who have passed before him.

Ron was born in Berlin, Germany and came to the United States as a young boy with his parents Ursula and Otto, who preceded him in death. He married Kathy Nolan, and the couple later divorced. After graduating from Fremd High School, he served in the army as a 4th class specialist stationed in Hawaii. Ron attended technical college for computers and worked as a computer programmer for Zurich Insurance for many years, earning a certificate for outstanding project participation. He later worked for the Illinois Tollway in customer service.

Ron had a great love for rock and roll music and attending concerts. The Who was his favorite band. Ron was an avid guitar player and loved cars. He loved his German shepherd, Boris.

A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111. www.statelinecremations.com
