Ronald Dobnick

Ronald John Dobnick Sr., 74, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2022. Ronald was born to Mary (Kalusky) and John Dobnick on June 22, 1948, in Rockford. He took great pride in his work, where he owned and operated Dobnick Trucking and Excavating. Ron enjoyed fishing in his little time away from work at local rivers and ponds. Throughout the years he took a special interest in race cars, even periodically sponsoring drivers. He is survived by his children, Ron J. (Heather) Dobnick Jr., Scott J. (Tiffany) Dobnick, and Beka (Aaron) Moore; eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Karla Dobnick-Roush. He was preceded in death by his parents, and many other family members. A Celebration of Life for Ronald will take place Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rockton American Legion, 221 Main Street, Rockton, Illinois 61072.
