Robin Ann Ferguson, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away surrounded by love and family. She will be remembered for her fierce spirit, generous heart, and the way she lit up every room she entered.
Robin cherished life's simple joys—her favorite holiday was Christmas, when she found delight in giving, decorating, and bringing everyone together. She also found peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially while glamping in Wisconsin with her camper and her husband. Those moments under the trees, by the fire, and beneath the stars will forever be cherished memories for her family.
Robin was a devoted mother, survived by her beloved children: Nicole Ferguson, Jesse Mokhantha, Brittany, Heath, Gage Weeks, Stacy Christian, Sony Ferguson, and Aidan Ferguson. She is also survived by her brothers Mike Trimble and Robert Ferguson, who shared in her laughter, strength, and resilience. Beyond blood, Robin chose her sisters Michelle Recker and Leila Krienke, who stood by her side through life's ups and downs.
Her family and friends will remember Robin as bull-headed yet endlessly caring, fiercely protective, and loving to a fault. She gave herself selflessly to those she loved and lived her life with unapologetic authenticity.
Her memory will live on in the warmth of a campfire, the glow of Christmas lights, and the laughter of the family she leaves behind.
A Celebration will be held at 5 pm, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Killbuck Bluffs Forest Preserve, South Bend Rd. Rockford, IL 61109.
