Robert Sandell

Robert L. Sandell, 92, 01/06/1933 - 02-28-2025 of Rockton IL, and formerly of Freeport IL. Born in Hazelhurst IL to Fred and Evelyn (Stern) Sandell. Served in the US Army 1952-1953. Bob had 2 professions over his working years. Farming in Lanark IL from 1954 until 1971. Then, he sold insurance with Prairie Farmer Insurance and then had his own independent insurance agency in Forreston IL, from 1983 until he retired in 2011. Bob married Dorothy Michaelson in 1954 they divorced in 1971. He married Sherry (French) Sandell in 1974.

He is survived by his wife Sherry, 3 children Debra, Linda, Kenneth and 3 stepchildren Lori, Kathy and Jarrod. His sister Shirley and several grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Leroy and Lyle. Bob will be cremated with services being provided by Stateline Cremations.
