Robert Landis

Robert Raymond “Bubba” Landis, 56, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on December 27, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 3, 1968, in Rockford; the son of William and Mary (Tangorra) Landis. He attended Harlem High School. He worked as a machinist for many years. Bubba married Kim Peterson on September 29, 2007. He was big-hearted, gentle, and a very kind person. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle and going for rides whenever possible. He was a homebody, his home was his favorite place to be.

Survivors include his wife Kim, mother Mary; sister Cynthia Landis; niece Tristen Landis; nephews Kyle and Nicolas; brother-in-law Jeff Peterson; and his dog Zelda. His is predeceased by his father Bill; brother Tom Landis; and mother-in-law Ida Donovan.
