Robert Hollenbeck

Robert (Bob) G. Hollenbeck, 77, of Roscoe, passed away unexpectedly April 19, 2021. Born August 27, 1943 in Rockford, IL; he was the son of Bob & Dorothy (Dahlgren) Hollenbeck. He married Barbara Bever on February 1, 1963. Bob was a Union Electrician for over 55 years and a member of the IBEW, Local 364 in Rockford, IL. He was also a Lifetime member of the LLL Club in Rockford, IL. Bob always enjoyed living on the water; that included boating, water skiing, & scuba diving. He also liked hanging out in his bobcat, going to the casinos, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Hollenbeck; children, Robert (Joan) Hollenbeck, Michael (Laura) Hollenbeck and Stephen (Sandy) Hollenbeck; four granddaughters, two step grandsons, one step great granddaughter. Sister, Karen Beksel. And several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and stepfather, Harold Apsey.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
