Robert Gustin

Robert Raymond Gustin, Jr., 58, of Loves Park, passed away in his home on January 17, 2022. Born June 7, 1963, in Rockford; son of Robert. Sr. and Helen (Ripple) Gustin. Robert graduated from Harlem High School in 1981. He worked for Kelly Williamson Mobile, Logli, and Grace Lutheran Church over the years doing maintenance. He was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Robert was a Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Cubs fan. He was a movie buff and enjoyed music, especially movie soundtracks and 70’s and 80’s music. He was known to have a sweet tooth and loved eating creamy peanut butter right out of the jar. Robert was an extremely generous person and would give you anything he had. He was especially fond of his nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed. Survivors include his twin sister Robyn (Courtney) Skelton and sister Helen Gardner; niece Krystle (fiancé Tristan Bartholomew) Heaberlin; nephew Charles (Layne Kelley) Gardner; great niece and nephews Taylor Bartholomew, Cameron and Jonathan Gardner.
