Robert Fowler

Robert “Gundy/Pops” Fowler, age 84 passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home in Rockford, Illinois after a lengthy illness. Mr. Fowler was born January 21, 1938 in Rockford, Illinois. He served in the United States Air Force. His interests included golfing, bowling and reading books by his favorite author, Louis L’Amour. He was also a longtime member of the Lombardi and Verdi clubs.
He is survived by his son Christopher Fowler; daughter Roberta (nee Gunderson)(Tim) Leaf; brothers Al and Michael Gunderson; sister Kay (nee Gunderson) Watson; two aunts, Donna Glendenning and Bernice Lindquist; and uncle Ronald Fowler.
