Robert Carroll

Robert W. Carroll, 56, of Rockford passed away in his home on November 6, 2023. Born June 21, 1967, in Rockford; the son of Odell and Doris (Hoy) Carroll, Sr. During his lifetime, Robert worked as a cook for many Rockford area restaurants.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing in the Rock River, and he was an avid Bear’s fan. Robert was a very friendly and outgoing person who had a big heart. You will be missed but never forgotten. Survivors include his siblings Wanda Beck, Diane Gulbrantson, Ronald Carroll, Odell Carroll, Jr., and Theresa Ives; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; daughter Katie; and sister Donna Holloway. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park.
