Richard Lee Frazer, 82, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Richard was born on March 4, 1941, in Belvidere, Illinois, to biological parents, Leslie and Gladys Frazer, but raised by aunt and uncle, Rozel and Genieve Frazer. He graduated Belvidere High School in 1960, and went on to work at several local factories before retiring in Florida. He enjoyed going fishing, watching Science Fiction movies, and traveling. He was a devoted member of Rockford Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Alpine, where he also volunteered as the librarian. He is survived by his children, Romona (Jeff) Burton, Richard (Stacey) Frazer, and Bethanne Cox; grandchildren, Cory, Cody, Haylee-Jo, Alexandria, Zachary, and 6 great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Juanita Frazer.
? He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Gladys, Rozel and Genieve; daughter, Amanda; grandson, Curtis; brothers, Kenneth Frazer and Rozel Frazer. The family would like to personally thank Greg and Dan for the support they gave, and always being there. A private burial for Richard will take place in the coming days, and a Celebration of Life will be announced in the coming weeks.
