Richard Anderegg

January 26, 1977 — August 1, 2025

Richard "Sean" Anderegg, 48, of Loves Park, passed away on August 1, 2025, at UW Swedish American. He was born on January 26, 1977, in Arlington Heights, IL; the son of Richard Anderegg, Jr. and Terri Sawicki. Sean graduated from North Boone High School in 1994. He worked for Hennig as a maintenance mechanic. Sean's interests included guns, drinking beer, and hanging out with friends talking shit. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren. He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be missed.

Survivors include his mother Terri Meyers; son Austin Anderegg; daughter Lindsey (Nathan) Canfield; grandchildren Bennett and Lillie; sister Rachel (Matt) Altom; nieces and nephew Sydney, Thea, and Oliver; stepsiblings Kim, Chris, Lloyd, Trevor, and Hanna. He is predeceased by his father Richard Anderegg, Jr.; stepfather J.R. Meyers; and stepsister Sara Schacht.
