Renee Cederholm

Renee Lynn Cederholm, 36, of Rockton, Illinois, passed away in her home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Renee was born to Edna and Robert Goins Senior on April 2, 1984 in Joliet, Illinois. Renee attended Crown Point High School, Southern Illinois University, and graduated from Rockford Career College in 2018. Renee was a massage therapist, working for Optimum Rehabilitation Center as a Senior Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Aide. Renee enjoyed nature around her, including gardening and numerous indoor plants. She also had a great interest in adding to her personal collection of vintage Corningware. Renee was passionate about adopting Pitbulls. Most recently she adopted Doyle and she was working hard to help him become a solid citizen. Renee is survived by her loving daughters, Kamryn and Lily Cederholm; brothers, Robert Goins, Duane Goins, and David Carrigan; nieces, Evalyn Goins and Aaliyah Goins; several aunts and uncles; the Cederholm family, and the Champlin family. Renee was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Damian Carrigan. A celebration of life will take place for Renee on Friday, March 26, 2021 at The Martin House, 5635 Nebeshone Lane, Rockford, Illinois, 61103 at 6:00 P.M. In Lieu of Flowers, the family is establishing a college fund for her daughters, Kamryn and Lily. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Road, Loves Park, Illinois, 61111.
