Paul Ashcraft

Paul A. Ashcraft, 57, of Loves Park, passed away on October 26, 2023. He was born on February 19, 1966, in Rockford; the son of Jay and Juanita (Files) Ashcraft. Paul graduated from Jefferson High School in 1984 and married Patricia Dean on February 19, 2007. He was a salesman and worked many jobs from selling vacuums at Swanson’s, to TV’s and appliances at American TV, to selling cars. He was a member of Northeast Christian Church. Paul loved cars. It didn’t matter if it was a model car or a full-sized car. His favorite was the Ford Mustang. So, of course, one of his favorite pastimes was to go to car shows. He also loved food. He enjoyed cooking food as much as he enjoyed eating food. What people will remember most about Paul was his sense of humor. He loved to crack jokes. Survivors include his loving wife Patricia; daughter Bethany (Hunter Arcieri) Ashcraft; brother Jim (Brenda) Ashcraft; sister-in-law Helen Ashcraft; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; and brothers Orville and Glenn Ashcraft. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Northeast Christian Church, 5651 E. Riverside Blvd, Rockford, IL 61114 with Rev. Michael Lietz officiating. There will be visitation from 10 am until the time of service.
