Patrick Williams

Patrick A. Williams, 76, of Caledonia, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with family at his side. He was born on May 18, 1946, in Rockford, IL; the son of Robert E. and Charleen L. (Cook) Williams.  Pat was a graduate of Harlem High School, class of 1964, and served in the US Air Force.
Pat was a member of the American Legion, the Gentlemen Car Club in Loves Park and a retired Ironworker from Local 498. The oldest of seven children, Pat cherished and always supported his family. He enjoyed all things outdoors, particularly golfing, fishing, hunting, working in the yard and going to car cruises and shows with wife, Sue. He enjoyed spending winters in warm, sunny Florida. He was very fond of all of his grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. Pat valued making memories with his friends and family. Survivors include his wife and love of his life Sue Williams, son Michael P. (Corinna) Williams, daughter, Elizabeth A. Lara, step-daughters Trisha (Jeff) Grimmett and Traci (Dan) Fermanich, sisters: Connie (John) Burden, Bonnie (John) Tilton, Laurie Lemons, Shari Wells; brothers: Mark (Ellen) Williams and Donald Williams; aunts, Nancy Neff and Nancy Cook and uncle, Richard (Shirley) Cook; as well as grandchildren, Lilliana and Emily Williams, Madeline, Owen and Isabella Lara, Courtney (Coyt) Saldana, Kayla Grimmett and Nicholas Fermanich, great grandson Asher Saldana, and nieces Carrie Burden (A.J.) Sperle, Ann (Nic) Elmer, Kelley (Francis) Nguyen, Adrian Wells, Jamie Klaman; nephews, Rob (Judi) Schultz and Eric Schultz, Matthew (Rachel) Williams, Jarred (Brittany) Wells and Justin Wells, Blair (Rhonda) Lemons. Predeceased by his parents, grandparents H. Roy and Clara Williams, Charles and Myrtle Cook, mother- and father-in-law Fred and Marion Rinehart, aunts and uncles Robert and Betty Cook, Jim and Jeannine Cook, Donnie Cook, Joan and Don Kessel, Tom Cook, Judy Kalen, Don and Doris Williams, Jane Allen, and Louie Lemons. To honor Pat, the family will hold a celebration of life in the Spring. Time and location will be announced later.  The family would like to thank Dr. Harvey Einhorn and all of the staff at East Bank Center, in particular, Christine, Lindsay, Charity, Tiffany, Micki and Crystal as well as Heather Hartman with Transitions Hospice for their collective care and comfort.
