Patricia Boekholder

Patricia Lee Boekholder, 70, of Rockford, passed away in her home on August 14, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1956, in Germany, the daughter of Melvin and Mildred (Myers) Boekholder. Both her parents served in the US Army. Her father was a Master Sargeant, and her mother was a nurse.

Patty worked as a postal carrier for 24 years before retiring. She was a recent member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Patty loved spending time outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature. She especially enjoyed fishing, planting vegetables and flowers in her gardens, and bird watching. She also cherished taking her dog for walks with her friend, Patty. These simple moments spent outdoors brought her great joy and reflected her love for nature and the peacefulness it provided.

Survivors include her friends Patricia (John) Slack, Maurice Phillips, and Debbie Jaustman; her cousins Kendra and Helene; and her dog Bella. She is predeceased by her parents Melvin and Mildren Boekholder.
