Pamela Roberts

February 3, 1949 — January 12, 2024

Pamela “Pam” Ann Roberts, 74, of Rockford, passed away at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born February 3, 1949, in Rochelle, IL; the daughter of Seth and Mildred (Locke) Simms. Pam graduated from Guilford High School in 1967 and then married Willard Eugene “Gene” Roberts on December 30, 1967. Gene joined the Navy in 1968 and together they traveled the world. Everywhere they went she found herself drawn to her passion for being a choir director. She was a choir director for adults and children alike over the years, local churches included Rock Church, Third Presbyterian Church, and Northeast Christian Church. Pam worked in the activities departments for several nursing facilities and was promoted to Activities Director for Provena Cor Mariae. Pam enjoyed her family and loved to take care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Gene; sons Seth Eugene (Heidi) Roberts, Neil Roberts, and Matthew (Loretta) Roberts; grandchildren Jared, Ella, Victoria, Olivia, Emma, Seth A., Will, and Liam; sisters Jackie (Richard) Schlosser and Joy (Terry) Amdal; brother James (Cindi) Bratton; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Seth and Mildred Simm.
