Pamela Sue Hale, 62, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes in the evening hours of Thursday, September 23, 2021, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Pamela was born to Dona and William “Bill” Heyer on July 16, 1959, in Winona, Minnesota. Pamela attended Belvidere High School, Rock Valley College and McHenry County College, and went on to be a CNC Lathe Operator. Pamela married Larry Wlyde in 1978, and later married Paul O. Hale Jr. from 1982-2012. Pamela was a breast cancer survivor. She was always in the mood for a cup of coffee with family and friends. She enjoyed reading and napping in her living room chair. She took up a special interest in art and animation, crafting, gymnastics, and bowling. She was also passionate about DACA, taking part in the group in high school. Pamela is survived by her mother, Dona Heyer; sister, Linda (Jim) Ward; brother, Bill (Patty) Heyer; daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Howard; son, Paul and Nikki Hale; grandchildren, Alley, Jonathan, Ethan, and Jacob; great-grandchild, Olivia. Pamela was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Heyer; brother, James “Jim” Heyer. A celebration of life for Pamela is planned for Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. with a visitation taking place at 12:00 P.M., at New Life Lutheran Church, where Pamela was a member, 1100 North Lyford Road, Rockford, Illinois 61107. A luncheon at the church will take place following the service at 2:00 P.M. Flowers may be sent to the church and accepted throughout the morning before the time of the visitation.
