Norma Burrington

Norma Kay Burrington, 59, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 5, 2020 at Swedish American Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1960 to Norman and Wanda Burrington (both deceased). She attended Auburn High School where she was on the JROTC team. She also attended Rock Valley College. During her life Norma worked at Walter Lawsons, the Winnebago County Jail, and then spent most of her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Rosewood Care Center. She was a member of Samuelson Road Church of the Nazarene. She loved singing in the choir and going to church and spending time at the get-togethers. She was also a member of the Fish-Abled Foundation. She enjoyed going to as many of their outings that she could. She is survived by daughter Nicole Shellenberger and grandson Nicholas Papini Jr.  A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
